Greenwood Farm Historical, Cultural & Arts Association, Inc.

The Board of Directors of the Greenwood Farm Historical, Cultural & Arts Association, Inc. has been diligently working toward its goals of repairing, renovating and preparing the house and its beautiful grounds for the time when a variety of programming benefiting the entire community and beyond can be scheduled.

We achieved our goal of obtaining the Federal income tax exempt status under the section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We have also been determined to be a public charity under Section 170 of the Code . We are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

The Board of Directors continues to seek persons to serve along with them on the Board who have a passion for the preservation of history, the environment, a love of community-building and a love of Richmond Heights. Ref: Submit a New Board Member Information Form

We also seek persons who wish to translate those passions into gifts of volunteer labor, funding, hospitality, networking connections, and leadership!  Click to join Greenwood_Farm_volunteers .

Currently, the Board of Directors is in the process of renewing memberships and accepting new memberships for the year. Ref Friends of Greenwood Farm Membership Form .

Cancelled as a result of Mayor Headen's Actions

With one week to go before the event, Mayor Headen has levied  a one-day “Lease of Premises” for July 12th, the day of the Junk in the Trunk, on the Board of Directors that is so costly that it would wipe out any proceeds that we might make for the day.  The “Lease of Premises” also requires that the Board procure a general liability insurance policy of not less than $2,000,000.  Besides these demands being too costly, the Board cannot accomplish this in a week’s time.  We apologize for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause our vendors and shoppers, but the circumstances are beyond our control.

Thank you for your support and understanding in this matter.

Refund Checks to vendors will be sent out the week of July 18th
